Part-time Opportunities

Part Time StaffWeekly Programs - As a part-time assistant you join a team of staff to provide fun and meaningful programs for participants. You will help with leadership, program planning and other related tasks. Hours are flexible and take place Monday through Saturday.

Summer Day Camps - Day Camp Counselor positions available! Camps run approximately 5 hours daily, Monday through Friday. Counselors are involved with planning and leading activities and are responsible for a group of up to four campers. Swimming, crafts, games, sports and trips are part of the fun!

Inclusion Programs - NWSRA staff assist in the transition from NWSRA programs to park district programs by serving as an aide to a child or a small group of children being included into a park district program.

Full-time Opportunities

Internship Program

NWSRA's internship/fieldwork program offers a diverse program that meets NCTRC requirements. A 12-15 week internship/fieldwork experience will include exposure in the following areas:

Part Time Staff

Internship and fieldwork experiences are available in the following areas:

Therapeutic Recreation
Community Recreation
Public Relations/Marketing
Fundraising

All interns will be directly supervised by a certified therapeutic recreation specialist (CTRS) and will receive an $150.00/week stipend. To apply, or for more information, please contact:
