Special Olympics Illinois Area 18 athletes will shine on the runway at the Belvedere Banquets in Elk Grove Village. Arrive at 11:00 a.m. and enjoy the various raffles that precede the fashion show. Lunch is served at 12:15 followed by the Special Olympics models taking center stage, showcasing their NWSRA participation and the lovely fashions provided by Bloomingdale's of Old Orchard.
Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge
Participants collect pledges from friends, family and co-workers in exchange for jumping into the icy waters of the Salt Creek Park District's Twin Lakes in Palatine. Plunging begins at 12:00 p.m. and shifts of plungers will continue until all have plunged. Lunch and warm up immediately follow. Event proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Illinois Area 18 athletes.

Buffalo Grove Golf Classic
Spend the day at The Arboretum Club supporting the Buffalo Grove Rotary Club and the SLSF for this
partnership event. Begin the day at 9:30am with a putting contest and helicopter golf ball drop. A foursome
shotgun start is at 10:30 with lunch on the course. Refreshments and dinner are also included.
Palatine Hills Golf Classic
Check in at 8:45 a.m. at the Palatine Hills Golf Course. This tournament offers 18 holes of 4-some scramble golf beginning at 9:30 a.m., power carts, tee gift, a prize raffle, continental breakfast, lunch on the course and dinner. You may choose to have a Special Olympics athlete play in your 4-some. Proceeds from this event benefit Special Olympics Illinois Area 18.
Ala Carte Entertainment / NWSRA Golf Classic
In Memory of Kevin T. Kendrigan
After checking in at 9:30 a.m. at the Mount Prospect Golf Club, foursomes will enjoy a breakfast buffet then tee off at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be served on the course, followed by a steak dinner grilled by Ala Carte chefs. Outing proceeds will purchase an accessible vehicle to transport NWSRA participants to programs.
Women's Only Golf Outing
Ladies check in at 11:00 a.m. and enjoy lunch while they bid on male caddies who bring candy, flowers, chocolates and other gourmet treats to vie for the highest bid from the ladies. A nine hole, shot gun outing at Traditions at Chevy Chase in Wheeling follows the auction. Following golf, ladies and their caddies then return to the clubhouse for hors d'oeuvres and a raffle.
Arlington Classic Golf Outing
Support the Arlington Heights Sunrise Rotary Club and SLSF for this partnership event. Tee off at 1:00 p.m. at the Arlington Lakes Golf Course and meet the newest inductee to the Duffer Hall of Fame. Check in at 12:00 and enjoy a grilled lunch, then join your group for a shot gun scramble event. Dinner and a raffle mark the end of a great day.
Celebrate Ability "An Evening with Friends" Dinner
Join NWSRA participants, families and community supporters at Meridian Banquets for an event that showcases abilities. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. as the silent auction opens and cocktails are served. Dinner, cash raffle drawing, live auction and dancing are included in the evenings activities.
