Our Story

Founded in 1981 by Kevin Kendrigan, the Special Leisure Services Foundation (SLSF) supports the Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) through philanthropy, helping fund programs, scholarships, accessible transportation, athletics, and inclusion initiatives for children and adults with disabilities. Guided by values of relationships, integrity, social equity, and sustainability, SLSF works to remove barriers and expand access so everyone can fully participate in their community, while maximizing opportunities to build a more inclusive and equitable future.
