Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) is both excited and proud to announce the completion of its sixth programming space at the Hoffman Estates Park District’s Vogelei House. Transforming this 1900’s three-story farm house into a fully accessible programming space was no small endeavor. To ensure the accessibility and safety of all those who will call this space home the floor plan was opened, an elevator was added, and a towering two-story accessible ramp was constructed. NWSRA will utilize this space for a number of program offerings including walking clubs, Saturday programs, special events, book clubs, afternoon enrichment and more. In addition to the Vogelei House acting as a programming space for the Hoffman Estates region, it will also be home to the Hoffman Estates PURSUIT Community Adult Day Program.

 

NWSRA is hosting an open house to allow everyone the opportunity to see this space for themselves. This open house will take place August 23 from 4-8pm.
