NWSRA recently announced a collaboration with MedLaunch,a Registered Student Organization of the University of Illinois.  The purpose of the collaboration is to assist individuals with disabilities through the innovation of new assistive devices.  MedLaunch is looking for individuals with disabilities who may be in need of a new assistive device, in order to facilitate a design challenge.  If you, or someone you know, may be interested in participating, please read the information below and click the link to submit your information!

We are MedLaunch, a registered student organization at the University of Illinois
interested in the crossroads of healthcare and innovation. Our organization will aim to facilitate a
design challenge to help people with disabilities in any way possible by creating innovation
assistive devices for their individual needs.

provide us with a better understanding of who you are and the best way that we can work together on a project. Or, please spread this message along so that we can continue to reach more people and pursue our mission!

Some of the projects our peers have completed in the past include:

• Tennis racket for individuals with limited hand grip

• Muscle monitoring for individuals going through stroke rehabilitation

• Digital assistance application for older adults

• Clear masks for individuals with hearing loss (to allow communication)
